Overnight Refrigerator Oatmeal with Fruits

Recently, I came across this yummy food from a online friend and I am tempted by her colorful fruits in her post. I decided to give it a try. It really easy and healthy for your body! All you need is to spend 10mins before u go to sleep to prepare these yummy yet healthy breakfast.







































Overnight Refrigerator oatmeal

Things needed:

  • 500ml container ( glass or plastics)
  • 7 tablespoons of raw rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seed ( please omit it if you don't have it)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey ( you can add more to suit your taste bud)
  • 250ml of milk ( you can change to other beverage like soy milk/ almond milk)
  • A variety of fruits (BUT please do not try kiwi)

Steps:
  1. Place in the rolled oat & Chia seed in the container.
  2. Add in honey then milk.
  3. Give it a stir to mix well.
  4. Finally, add in the mixed fruits.
  5. Close the lid of the container and fridge it overnight and it is ready to serve!
TAGlicious 's note:
* Sweetness can be adjust to individual to suit individual taste bud!
* You can prepare a few serving, it can keep in the fridge for at least 2 days (Depending the kinds of fruits you use)
* KIWI will cause bitter taste to your overnight oatmeal.

  1. hi, i have mix Kiwi & banana and my overnight oatmeal taste bitter. How can i make it not tasting bitter?

    1. Joey, I mentioned in my posting. Kiwi will cause bitter taste after soaking in milk. :)
