Creamy Portobello Mushroom Spaghetti

[A meatless meal today]
I am trying to replica the creamy mushrooms spaghetti served in the restaurant. It only cost me less than $10 to serve 4 tummies! I try to make this dish healthier so I used full cream milk instead of heavy cream. However, it didn't compromise with the taste. My lil boy commented it taste as good as the pasta he had from the restaurant & requested me to cook again.
Of course, I am a happy mummy!
Cooking can be very simple, fun & fulfilling.

Creamy Portobello Mushroom Spaghetti
(Serving for 3-4 persons)
  • 250g of spaghetti
  • 3 large portobello mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, minced small
  • 20g butter
  • 30g plain flour
  • 2cups (500ml) of full cream milk 
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon parsley flakes

Topping (optional)
- Shredded cheese
- Parsley flakes
